Eighthundred Project

As part of the celebrations for Liverpool’s 800th birthday on the 28th of August 2007 a group of photographers got together to capture 800 portraits of Liverpool people. All the images were gathered over one day on the city's birthday and featured images by DJC Design's David J Colbran, alongside fellow photographers: Mark McNulty, Benjamin Ball, Helen Palmer, Imke Oppenkamp, Matt Ford, Matt Wardle and Pete Carr.

The ‘Eighthundred’ project was a great success, the exhibition of all 800 portraits at the Albert Dock was very busy and it secured good press coverage in the Post and Echo and has been featured on a number of national and international websites.
