Isle of Man Post
DJC Design photographer David J Colbran was commissioned by the Isle of Man Post to provide images of Liverpool for its commemorative set of stamps marking Liverpool 's 800 th birthday and the long standing connections between the city and the island.
Each stamp was themed around a particular aspect of Liverpool 's history and DJC Design's images were used on the stamp celebrating the city's musical heritage. Other DJC Design images were used across the marketing material accompanying first day covers. Finally, David was asked to be the official photographer at a series a series of launch events across the city; at the Town Hall, the Royal Liver Building , The Cavern Club and finally Knowsley Hall.
