Quick round-up of editorial and published press images. There was great interest in my coverage of the James Larkin Society of Liverpool march back in July. It was marketed via Demotix and Corbis and combined notched up 4000 plus views and resulted in a few inquiries from the nationals. In the end The Irish Times ran a feature story and contacted me directly to licence two images, which appeared in the print and online versions.
Liverpool City Council's decision to hold a mayoral election rather than a public referendum on the decision caused a few nationals to examine why the city was the only one in the UK not to ask it's residents. I had documented the publicity material sent out by the council and The Guardian used the image below via Corbis.
Also back in June The Independent used one of my images from an earlier protest by the far-right BNP at Liverpool Crown Court, alongside an article.
Spanish publication 'Diagonal' contacted me directly after seeing my photographs of UK-Uncut protest movement and licenced an image which went with a feature. Which follows usage last year by the Press Association and YouGov.
Finally, one I didn't mention at the time I don't think, usage of a wide angled shot of the Liverpool Museum by The Economist, via Corbis again. Lovely night time shot, which has featured on my home page for a little while.
