A forthcoming documentary film about the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble (HBE) is to use some of my still photographs. HBE are a 9-piece, Chicago-based brass group, which caused a storm at UK festivals during 2009 and I was lucky enough to take photographs of their brilliant live performance at Womad Festival at Charlton Park, Malmesbury. A New York based film-maker called Reuben Atlas saw some of the images, got in contact and a deal was made. I also supplied a limited edition print of the image below for an exhibition at a gallery space in New York.
Below are some images from the private view and launch, where the band performed in the shadow of the Empire State Building.

"The photos were great – they were exactly what we were after in terms of capturing the networking, the high profile speakers, the Awards winners and also the fun of the Awards dinner. It was great to have such an involved photographer at the event capturing as much as possible and we would be very happy to use you again"
