Being able to adjust to a changing brief and think on my feet is all part and parcel of being a good photographer. A PR company contacted me and wanted images of a new ferry entering the port at Birkenhead for their client Stenaline. It was an early morning arrival and I was meeting the port manager at the terminal for her to escort me through security and to the ship. However the weather was against us and it was one of those foggy mornings on the Mersey where visibility was down to 100 metres!
A quick chat with the marketing person at Stenaline and the brief changed to include some group and VIP shots with the ship's captain and then on the ship itself for some press images of the new refurbished lounges and restaurants. No problem for me as I had the necessary lights with me. So we found some willing volunteers amongst the staff and got on with task.

"David is an amazing Liverpool based photographer. Not just in his professionalism and demeanour, but in his clear understanding of how to create the best images for clients. We worked together on a number of commercial projects and it was quality both in terms of content and prompt delivery of files every time. Absolutely no problem recommending him, he is a true pro at what he does !"
