There are worse places to photograph a corporate event than a brand-new stadium on the Liverpool waterfront. I was recently commissioned by Laing O’Rourke, the main contractor behind the £555 million Everton Football Club stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, to capture a day of team building and networking at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Laing O’Rourke has spent years bringing this landmark to life, so the brief was about more than ticking boxes. The client wanted images that showed the people behind the project, in the setting they helped create. As a Liverpool corporate photographer, I love this kind of work. The architecture does half the job, but the real story is always the people.
Good team building photography is about catching genuine moments: the laughter when a plan falls apart, the high-fives when it comes together, the quiet huddles where ideas take shape. I kept a low profile and moved around the room so everyone could relax and get on with it. Natural, candid images tend to be the ones clients actually use, whether for internal communications, social media or annual reports.
The day also included networking sessions and talks from guest speakers. For conference photography like this, I focus on three things:
If you’re planning a conference, awards evening, team day or product launch, I’d love to help. I’m a professional event photographer based in Liverpool, working with businesses across Merseyside, the North West and venues throughout the UK, including London. Whether you need commercial photography for a single event or a full programme, I’ll deliver polished, high-quality images that make your brand look its best.

Get in touch today for a quote and let’s talk about your next corporate event.
If I can't speak right away we can schedule something in / Teams / Zoom etc.

Another busy year working for an organisation that advises on public affairs, government relations and stakeholder engagement across Australia, the UK and New Zealand.
I'm delighted to say I'm now fully booked for event photography at this year's Labour Party Conference. But ready to book future commissions.
