I try and use natural light wherever possible but have a multi-light set up for interior and night work. I have bags of experience from working in the corporate sector, taking images of CEOs and VIPs, through to social photography at parties, weddings and all sorts of family gatherings.
If you are an influencer or an expert in your field, don't forget trade magazines, newspapers and online news outlets will more likely post your opinions if you have a top portrait to go with the piece. And of course every conference will want these as well, so don't delay in getting a new portrait commissioned if you have a speaker slot or presentation on the horizon.
