Portrait on front cover of Livving Magazine

A while back I was commissioned by Livv Housing to take some portraits for their magazine of Melanie Lewis, the CEO of Shakespeare North Playhouse.

The Shakespeare North Playhouse is a theatre, arts and cultural hub in Prescot. When we visited the building was close to completion and it was fascinating getting a preview, behind the scenes of the amazing space. And of course lovely to meet and have a chat with Melanie.

The 470-seater theatre Is not just hosting Shakespeare related events, the programme looks really diverse and I am off to see a showcase of 3 short plays written by young women from the region in September, which I am really looking forward to.

So it was great to see the Livving Magazine, Spring 2022 edition feature one of my photographs. And below are a few of other portraits from the shoot.

Africa Oye is done and dusted - wow what a great weekend. Saturday's music and line up was a killer. So coming up a few highlights of the artists and some ground views. Anyways, my favourite festival and a highlight of my year for sure.

"The photos were great, they were exactly what we were after in terms of capturing the networking, the high profile speakers, the Awards winners and also the fun of the Gala dinner. It was great to have such an involved and professional photographer at our event capturing as much as possible and we would be very happy to use you again"
