A global developer and manufacturer of coding and marking products - Dominio Printing, headquartered in the UK, opened its new fluids facility in Bootle, north of Liverpool city centre. I had been commissioned to capture the groundbreaking event of this new industrial plant 18 months ago. So it was great to get repeat business and return for the offical opening of the factory.
Domino Printing Sciences moved its fluids manufacturing to a new 172,000 sq ft (16,000 sq m) state-of-the-art factory on the Senate Business Park, enabling a significant increase in productivity and capacity.
The Domino Group is part of Brother Industries, a public company based in Nagoya Japan - so there were visitors from Japan, as well as the usual local politicians including Steve Rotheram, the Metro Mayor of the Liverpool region.
My brief was to take some formal shots of the whole workforce in new uniforms - 70 people in total ! As well as a few speeches and the offical ribbon cutting ceremony. Finally I went along with a site tour and got some images for their archives of the facility itself.
If you've arrived here looking for a quality, affordable photographer for your plant, factory or warehouse, please give me a call on 07810 321634 - I'm happy to talk through a project over the phone, or hook up for a coffee.

Lots of images from three busy days working at the ACC and Exhibition centre Liverpool for the Labour Party conference 2025
There is something uniquely rewarding about photographing people in spaces where they feel confident, professional, and proud. That’s exactly the atmosphere I stepped into during a recent commission at a newly opened dental surgery — a sleek, modern practice blending cutting-edge care with a warm, welcoming environment..
Wow 12 months roll around quickly. It doesn't seem 5 minutes ago that I was dashing between fringe events and public relations photo shoots. But here we again in the run up to another Labour Party Conference in Liverpool in 2025.
