Whether you are a home eCommerce business targeting platforms like Amazon, Etsy and Ebay or a multi-national manufacturing business updating your site, having clean, crisp product photography is essential.
The images must give an accurate representation of your items and show them in the absolute best way possible. In exactly the same way that you can convert more customers into sales if your shop is correctly optimised, your product photography can do the same.
I can advise on whether it's best for your items, to photograph them against a white background, or shooting products in context. This can and should be considered as an alternative or as an additional option by eCommerce store owners. On location or in a store might take a little more time but can make your brand stand out in a crowded marketplace. Photographing products in context is a great way to tell a story and bring products to life. For example, an online fashion store could enrich their range by using look-book style images of the models wearing the clothes.
Or perhaps shoot the items against different colours or different backgrounds.
I can collect and deliver items from your workplace if within Liverpool or Merseyside, arrange a courier service or accept materials in the post. Alternatively I can bring my mobile studio to your office and take the photographs there - meaning your products or samples remains with you and nothing can go missing. I can advise on backgrounds, various photographic and post-production techniques.
With 2019 just starting, now is the time to update your high-visibility product photos and images to give your brand an instant new look and re-engage returning customers and social media fans. Let me be part of that process - call me or send a message and I will get back to as soon as I can.

Always great to be re-booked on a conference and at the end of the year I covered the Times Higher Education Awards and Conference 2024 photography at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham.
As 2024 comes to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on my year in the world of business and corporate photography. A few words and a load of my favourite images from the past 12 months.
A post showcasing a multi day, multi venue business event at The Crypt, The Anglican Cathedral and St George's Hall. Presentations, speakers, drinks reception and a formal gala dinner, it had the lot !
"David is an amazing Liverpool based photographer. Not just in his professionalism and demeanour, but in his clear understanding of how to create the best images for clients. We worked together on a number of commercial projects and it was quality both in terms of content and prompt delivery of files every time. Absolutely no problem recommending him, he is a true pro at what he does !"
