Africa Oye 2017 - world music festival in Liverpool

Another great weekend in Sefton Park, covering the Africa Oye festival. It is the eleventh year I have been lucky enough to have a press pass and as before I supply specialist image library ArenaPal. Loads of excellent acts from various parts of the world and just a few highlights below.

Exhibition Stand Photography at Trade Shows and Conferences
I have been photographing exhibition stands for many years and just realised I have never really posted about it before. Perhaps a few images in the end of year review, or as part of a bigger conference job. But I've been commissioned recently by a few stand designers and thought I would write some thoughts and highlight some favourite images from the archive.

Aintree Grand National photographer
If you read my posts before you will know my experience with Photography for the Outdoor Advertising Industry. On my travels the other day, I noticed some interesting and eye catching adverts for the forthcoming Grand National.
"As a new business, it was very important to me to get the right publicity photographs for my marketing materials. When I met David, he listened carefully to what I was trying to achieve with my brand, and then produced fabulous photographs that were exactly what I needed.
