If you have read my posts before you will know my experience with Photography for the Outdoor Advertising Industry. On my travels the other day, I noticed some interesting and eye catching adverts for the forthcoming Grand National festival at Aintree on the 11th to the 13th of April.
It was on the steps on St. George's Hall and underneath the usual long hanging banners. And quite a clever way to display some text. Indeed close up it looks a little odd but it is designed to be seen from up high, which is ideal as quite a few double-decker busses run past on the road between the Hall and the Empire Theatre. Indeed when I was there, I noticed a drone hovering, so I guess this was the agency or the designers checking everything looked good. Anyway here are a few quick snaps.

I have worked before on a few commissions at the Aintree Racecourse, here in Liverpool over the years. Quite a few times for commercial organisations using their excellent conference and function facilities. And some connected to the horse racing - a couple of times for The Racing Post and then a few for various PR organisations with events connected to the meetings. Last year I had a big commission for Arena who build all the temporary structures for the Grand National Festival and I blogged about it here - Aintree interiors photography commission.
Obviously if you have something planned at Aintree or in Liverpool connected to the horse racing, get in touch and we can have a chat about getting some quality photography and media coverage for your event.
