Liverpool Wordpress web design for First Call Partners - an expert solution

Ended a very busy 2017 with the launch of a web site for the business First Call Partners.

I'd worked with Director Andy on a few occasions before - both project managing web developments and as a photographer, so it was great getting back in touch for his new venture. First Call Partners works with governments, international organisations, the private sector and NGOs to increase the effectiveness of their work on conflict, security and governance issues. So they needed something fairly straight forward - they don't sell anything directly from their site - it is a brochure for their bespoke consultancy services.

And of course something professional, clean and clear.

Branding and logo design

Being a start up organisation they asked me to begin with a blank piece of paper and come up with some branding ideas and a logo. After a conversation I put together some colour swatches and 10 logo ideas and associated devices. The 4 Directors of the business are based in London, so I presented these remotely online and opened up feedback to their team. A couple of rounds of revisions and alterations later, they decided on a colour scheme and a logo and we moved on to the website concepts.

Responsive website

Like most businesses they wanted the site to work across all devices and be 'responsive' and have a content management system that their business manager could update herself easily. I spoke with her and she was familiar with administrating Wordpress sites for previous clients, so was happy with the route that the project was taking. I set up all the necessary email accounts for her and helped the team to get them working on a number of devices and via a number of different email clients. Final element of the project was to design and supply business cards for the Directors.
