To be honest, it is still quiet but business is definitely returning. I've been working with a logistics company taking photographs of bespoke shipping containers.
Cargostore is the World's largest supplier of shipping containers (known in the trade as CCUs - Cargo Carrying Units). They specialise in offering bespoke container conversions and specialised equipment.
And they use several heavy engineering businesses here on Merseyside to do bespoke work for their clients. Chatting to the managers on site they explained the various uses of containers, from the military and Ministry of Defence transportation, to the offshore and mining industries, through to temporary secure office units.
Really interesting stuff - one commission in July I was sent on was to photograph a CCU being prepared for shipping or storing chemicals or other hazardous goods. The bunded flooring in these specialist containers safely catch and store spills during transit.
Also been keeping busy with my project of scanning old images from Ireland and finalising some new fine art prints which will shortly go on sale.
Of course, like many people, I've been using this time to work out what is next and how I can keep going both from a business point of view and personally. I'm confident I've made some good adjustments and am ready to help those businesses who want to survive and are currently looking at their marketing objectives. So if you need fresh photography and fresh ideas, get in touch and lets starting making some plans.

Having an efficient digital workflow is something that most professional photographers aspire to. Why? Well at the end of the day, getting images processed and delivered quickly to clients is super important.
Tips on what you should wear for a head and shoulders photo session for business people, professional actors, actresses, musicians, singers, writers and presenters. Practical and sensible advice.
