It’s been a busy few months here, with a great mix of photography projects across the North West. From dynamic business events to striking editorial shoots, I’ve had the chance to work with some brilliant clients and creative teams recently.
I’ve been photographing a range of corporate portraits and commercial headshots for businesses in both Liverpool and Manchester, helping organisations refresh their visual presence for websites, press and LinkedIn profiles. Each session is tailored to the client’s brand style – whether that’s a clean, contemporary studio look or more natural environmental portraits taken on location. I bring a mobile studio to your workplace, to efficiently create a series of classic head and shoulders shots for your team to use.

There’s also been plenty of conference and event photography, capturing the atmosphere and energy of corporate gatherings and industry events. I really enjoyed working again with some regular clients and covering a multi-day business conference at The Lowry Theatre and the Imperial War Museum North in Manchester. These assignments are always fast-moving and varied, requiring a keen eye for storytelling and attention to detail – perfect opportunities to document real connections and moments of engagement.

On the editorial side, I’ve been commissioned for several press and PR features, providing creative imagery to accompany interviews and business stories. Editorial work is always a favourite – it combines portraiture with narrative, helping to tell a story through the image as much as the words. I visited a 'tool shed' for a particular story - it is a community workshop open to all and an important centre to reduce the effects of social isolation in the community. The event featured young people from a local university visiting and working with the 'shedders' - the commission added to a narrative - encouraging generations to mix and work together in a safe and welcoming environment.

But not all great news - I have been working with a marketing team for about 6 weeks, planning a 4 day long, multi site (North East and the Midlands !) locations, that was supposed to be starting today. Postponed which leaves me with a free week. Over the years I have learned to see those quiet times differently. They’re not failures on my part or signs of slowing down; they’re space. Space to think creatively and remember why I started doing this in the first place. I love the variety and creativity that comes along with being a freelance photographer and being able to step back allows time to work on personal projects and reflect on my practice.
As always, I’m based in the North West of England, covering photography projects across Liverpool, Manchester, and beyond. If your organisation needs professional photography for upcoming conferences, events, PR campaigns, or corporate portraits, feel free to get in touch.

Looking back over the year highlighting photography industry trends and my thoughts on business as a photographer in 2025.
Recent commission here in Liverpool with some experts in event organisation - needless to say the conference was super interesting and provided some great insights.
Looking for high-quality business portraits in Liverpool, Manchester and beyond - I have a mobile studio set up that I can bring to your workplace. I can create a studio-like experience without requiring you or your team to travel.
