I recently worked again with Comic Relief, in preparation for their annual fundraising evening. They support a local group called Positive Futures, a charitable youth organisation here in Liverpool who works with young people to give them access to support, guidance and opportunities. One particular aspect of their work is helping individuals on a one-to-one basis to overcome personal issues and challenges. And while they do this in many ways, I was there to document a feature at Tuebrook Amateur Boxing Club. I was asked to provide reportage style photographs at the club, as well as some portraits of key people.
Also the BBC's The One Show was there with Louise Minchin and a camera crew to interview a participant and learn a little more from the mentors and trainers for a segement in their early evening programme. Really interesting hearing in detail about the work and how boxing has helped young people during the interviews. They are really passionate about the young people they support and passionate about their local community.
Do you need a charity photographer to promote your charitable organisation or aid work?
I have bags of experience in this sector and know how to capture powerful images to communicate a compelling story. And have worked with Comic Relief, Shelter, Guide Dogs, Oxfam and the NSPCC.
A great photo can help tell your charity story. We live in a visual world and millions of photos are uploaded to social media every day. A single photograph can often convey much more than words really draw people in to understanding your message. So don't hesitate to give me a call.

"Just wanted to drop you a line to say thank-you so much for the brilliant job you did for us in Bootle barracks the other week - we hit the Echo and also the Plymouth Daily (where we have an interest in veterans services) so we were dead chuffed. Excellent Public Relations / Press style photography."
