Why responsive ? Google has made a significant update to its search algorithm impacting the way websites are ranked when performing searches. If your site isn't mobile friendly, your business is going to suffer.
I design, develop, and maintain responsive web sites and have been for the last ten years. This is our latest project for a start up construction and maintenance business here in the North West. The company had existing branding and were ready to launch a web presence. Reports show smartphones and tablets combined now account for 6o percent of all online traffic, up from 50 percent a year ago, so even a business to business company like Smart, needs to reflect this and be responsive to different screen sizes.
The preparation for development was fairly straight forward. I had a brief meeting with the Director of the business Paul, to find out a little more about what was required. We discussed project goals, timescales and compared a variety of other web sites in the sector. I came away with a list of requirements, a rough structure of pages and some text and image content. Over the next few days I worked the branding and content into a three design concepts - then uploaded to web space for Paul and his team to evaluate. Once a preference was identified I built a beta site on test space and uploaded a holding page to the correct domain URL. This meant all stakeholders in the project were able to see the progress and contribute content and make suggestions at the earliest possible opportunity. After a couple of weeks, we were there and launched the site.
If you are looking for a Merseyside company that can design, supply, install mechanical and electrical building services then Smart Building Services are the go to organisation.
I can design your company a web site from scratch or take your existing design and convert it to a responsive, mobile friendly WordPress theme. Give me a call and lets hook up for a coffee to discuss your project.

It is great news that the Labour movement returns its yearly gathering to the city. A great boost to the hospitality sector for the city and reinforces its role as a leading conference and event host destination in the UK.
Africa Oye is done and dusted - wow what a great weekend. Saturday's music and line up was a killer. So coming up a few highlights of the artists and some ground views. Anyways, my favourite festival and a highlight of my year for sure.
I was back with the British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) at the Manchester Central Convention Complex taking conference photos and covering an evening gala dinner at Manchester Museum
"As a new business, it was very important to me to get the right publicity photographs for my marketing materials. When I met David, he listened carefully to what I was trying to achieve with my brand, and then produced fabulous photographs that were exactly what I needed. He was extremely professional throughout but also nice and friendly. Myself and my clients found it easy to relax with him, which was essential to create the right vibe for the shoot. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone."
