Another great weekend in Sefton Park, covering the Africa Oye festival. It is the eleventh year I have been lucky enough to have a press pass and as before I supply specialist image library ArenaPal. Loads of excellent acts from various parts of the world and just a few highlights below.
BLACK PROPHET ; roots reggae singer/songwriter from Ghana
DABY TOURE ; virtuoso guitarist from Mauritania
DOBET GNAHRE ; singer from Côte d'Ivoire
JUPITER & OKWESS INTERNATIONAL ; band from DR Congo
MAX ROMEO ; roots reggae legend from Jamaica
MOKOOMBA ; pan-African band based in Zimbabwe
I've been taking photos of world music artists for over ten years and am represented by image specialists ArenaPal - if you are touring in England and need professional images please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Also I've loads of music images on my Tumblr - check my music photography - via the jump.

It is great news that the Labour movement returns its yearly gathering to the city. A great boost to the hospitality sector for the city and reinforces its role as a leading conference and event host destination in the UK.
Africa Oye is done and dusted - wow what a great weekend. Saturday's music and line up was a killer. So coming up a few highlights of the artists and some ground views. Anyways, my favourite festival and a highlight of my year for sure.
I was back with the British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) at the Manchester Central Convention Complex taking conference photos and covering an evening gala dinner at Manchester Museum
