I have been meaning to post about this new space in Liverpool, The Spine, for quite a while.
The Spine opened in 2021 when the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) moved in to seven floors of the building on a 25-year lease from the landlord Liverpool City Council and gradually occupied and ramped up events post COVID-19. It was the culmination of a £35m, 5-year project for the RCP, to establish a base for providing events, activities and services to their members in the north of England, and is the first presence outside London for the organisation.
The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) is a British professional membership body dedicated to improving the practice of medicine, chiefly through the accreditation of physicians by examination. Founded by royal charter from King Henry VIII in 1518, as the College of Physicians, the RCP is the oldest medical college in England.
It's new building here in Liverpool is located in Paddington Village at the heart of the Knowledge Quarter in the city centre. On the 12th and 13th floors are some excellent spaces for conferences, meetings and dining with possibly the best views across the city. Which is where I come in as an experienced Liverpool conference photographer.
I absolutely love the spontaneity of events and business conferences. Whether you are throwing a glittering gala, a corporate event, or arranging a business conference, I'll document the event and share the events story and spirit through photography. Also events seem to like me - I've worked with several management teams for their clients on repeat annual conferences, including the British Cardiovascular Society and British Orthopaedic Trainee Association.
Also as well The Spine is one of the healthiest buildings in the North West. It has been built according to the principles that make up the WELL Standard. The WELL Building Standard is the premier standard for buildings, interior spaces and communities seeking to implement, validate and measure features that support and advance human health and wellness. And reading about it - it is BREEAM Excellent – a rating taking into account energy efficiency, sustainability and how well it meets user needs – putting it in the top 10% of buildings. And is classed as A++ ESOS-2 energy efficient. Which is pretty impressive !
So if your searching for photographers at The Spine Liverpool, you have arrived at the correct page. I am familiar with all the spaces available and confident I can provide excellent photography solutions at an affordable rate. I have full Public & Products Liability insurance and Professional Indemnity insurance at £10M per claim - so we are both covered if I knock something over with a tripod, or someone trips on my bag etc and I am a member of the NUJ.
Of course if you need any more information, don't hesitate to get in touch, schedule a call or book in a Zoom or Teams meeting. And of course more than happy to send over more examples of my work. Thanks for reading this far and on to the photos ...
