Sad to hear Jamaican reggae pioneer Frederick Nathaniel "Toots" Hibbert has died at the age of 77. The legendary musician fronted the reggae and ska band Toots & the Maytals from the early 1960s.
I've seeen them perhaps half a dozen times over the years but only photographed them once in 2011 when they headlined a gig at the Academy here in Liverpool. Of course they played all their hits including Pressure Drop, Sweet and Dandy, and 54-46 That's My Number. A legend.

Two days and one long evening photographing a drinks industry conference and team building event here in Liverpool. The client needed images for internal and external communications, trade product content and social media channels.
Recently I was back at one of my favourite venues in Merseyside - Spaces at The Spine, covering an conference event called Early Career Researchers Network organised by The British Academy.
