Photographer with Royal visit experience in Liverpool, Merseyside, and working across the North West

Merseyside - experienced pro photographer

Sad times as I write this, September 2022 and during the period of National Mourning for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. But it got me thinking back to times when I briefly worked with The Royal Family as a photographer. While I haven't been commissioned to take any formal portraits. Rather my experience is from Royal visits and the press and public relations interest that generates.

I am a professional, full time photographer, with nearly 20 years' experience. I have worked at dozens of high profile events, where knowledge of protocol and an ability to follow instructions is key. Happy to dress appropriately and fit in to an often busy programme of activities. At ease with the speed that these events and visits happens. I can offer a quick turnaround of images, supply them on location and provide web ready versions for your social media channels.

Many members of the Royal family support charities, appear at events, and occasionally travels the globe to strengthen diplomatic relationships. Often individuals will commit to longer associations via patronage.

Essentially, a “royal patronage” simply refers to a member of the royal family becoming an official patron of an organisation.

The Buckingham Palace website says: ”Royal patronages add status to an organisation, and visits and involvement from a Royal Patron can often bring much needed publicity.

“For this reason, members of the Royal Family tend to limit their patronages to a manageable number to ensure that they can give each organisation a significant amount of their time.

Members of the Royal Family receive hundreds of requests for support each year - so it is a fairly big deal to an organisation to receive one, and important when the Royal Patron attends an event or undertakes a visit in their professional capacity.

Why Hiring A Liverpool Conference Photographer for Your London Event Could Save You Money

When clients first hear that I'm based in Liverpool, the most common question I get before booking a London conference photography job is: "Won't that cost more, with travel and a hotel to factor in?"

David took some professional business photos in Sefton Park and I love the photos! I found him to be very warm and personable, which helped me feel comfortable and confident during the shoot. He provided good direction to help get some fantastic shots.
