Like a lot of businesses the construction industry was hit hard with the pandemic. However the sector is showing signs of recovery. The latest Economic figures from the Government (a survey in August 2021) demonstrates that the industry is no longer contracting at the rate it was, and appears to be in recovery across the whole construction and engineering sector.
From a personal and anecdotal perspective, this definitely seems to be the case. A lot of my recent commissions have been as a Liverpool based construction photographer in Merseyside and on location across the North West. I've worked for both development companies and directly for manufacturers as their products are being installed on site.
So pulling on the boots and the PPE kit, here are a few examples of my photography out and about. First is for windows manufacturer Dakea, working at height to create a casestudy of a residental install, ready for their website and social media channels.
I offer high quality, high resolution images to construction companies - both large and small, including sub contractors, civil engineering consultants, architects and manufacturers. From initial site visits and groundworkings, to development progress documents, to final handover shoots with finished buildings and PR style group photographs with CEOs and VIPs.
Here are some more recent on location construction industry images taken in Merseyside. This time working for a manufacturer of protective boards, made from recycled hard plastic.
My photography work has been used for press releases, public relation releases, annual reports, brochures, promotional materials, trade magazines and of course on business websites.
I have also supplied images to visualisation companies who specialising in mixed media videos and CGI work.
Whether your project is constructing, renovating, or refurbishing, I've lots of on-site experience delivering images from a variety of construction projects. And factoring in my awareness of the dangers of shooting on development locations and the health and safety requirements I am your guy - give me a call on 07810 321 634 or email via david@djcdesign.co.uk
Some screen grabs to show how clients have used my images on their own site and via their social media accounts.
Finally DJC Design has developed and built quite a few websites for development and construction companies. From initial project scoping and branding designs through to maintenance and ongoing content production. Again if it is something you need help with, please get in touch.

It is great news that the Labour movement returns its yearly gathering to the city. A great boost to the hospitality sector for the city and reinforces its role as a leading conference and event host destination in the UK.
Africa Oye is done and dusted - wow what a great weekend. Saturday's music and line up was a killer. So coming up a few highlights of the artists and some ground views. Anyways, my favourite festival and a highlight of my year for sure.
I was back with the British Cardiovascular Society (BCS) at the Manchester Central Convention Complex taking conference photos and covering an evening gala dinner at Manchester Museum
"David is an amazing Liverpool based photographer. Not just in his professionalism and demeanour, but in his clear understanding of how to create the best images for clients. We worked together on a number of commercial projects and it was quality both in terms of content and prompt delivery of files every time. Absolutely no problem recommending him, he is a true pro at what he does !"
